Prototypes from the CNC milling machine
Our in-house milling machine enables us to quickly and cheaply machine parts for prototype construction. Large parts, for which 3D printing or vacuum casting are no longer profitable, can be easily and quickly processed in our CNC machine. For this reason, this process is a useful addition to our other prototyping options for housing parts.
Advantages and disadvantages of CNC milling technology
- Cheap and fast production of large parts
- Different materials can be processed using different parameters and tools
- Milled parts can be reproduced as required by repeating the milling process
- CNC technology enables very precise work and therefore well-fitting results
- Very small parts with complex geometries cannot always be realized by milling
- Surface structure depends on the milling cutter
